approach

C+ was set up in 1998 upon the different experiences of Domenico Farinaro, Alessandro Gaja (who left C+ at the end of 2001) and Fabrizio Lepore. Among their projects there are many high-profile luxury fashion retail shops and showrooms around the world. Thanks to this experience, they acquired a specific proficiency in conceiving the entire store concept and in developing it in various scales and levels of detail, as required by the retail business. Other projects include the design of private homes and residential complexes, as well as competition projects for office buildings and public institutions’ headquarters.

A common approach shapes projects different in scale and function. The desire for integration and contamination between creative expression and project functionality, between architecture and other disciplines, between correct use of materials and experimentation is at the source of the design choices in their practice. The design process combines creativity, architectural coherence, relationship to the context and technical feasibility.
